Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Union Education Benefit?
Because you're a union member, you—and your family—have access to exclusive education benefits, including discounted tuition on 100+ accredited online degree programs. This benefit is made possible through a partnership between your union and EDUTrust.
Who is EDUTrust?
EDUTrust connects union members and their families to top-quality education programs at highly competitive rates.
Our network includes a carefully selected group of accredited colleges and universities across the U.S.—all committed to offering exclusive discounted tuition on 100+ fully online degree programs.
Which colleges and universities are in the EDUTrust Network?
The network is constantly growing based on the demands of our partner membership organizations. We provide access to 100+ programs from four reputable institutions across the US.
How do I learn which college offers the academic program I'm interested in?
To receive a match to a participating institution, you must first indicate which program you are seeking and the level of schooling that you currently have. Do this by completing the Request Your Match form.
After you submit the form, you will receive an email containing information about the college or university that offers the right program or degree for you.
Once I'm matched to an institution, what are the requirements to be admitted?
Admission to your matched institution and chosen program is not guaranteed. After you are matched, you will work with an admissions counselor at the school to determine if you meet their admissions requirements.
Which colleges and universities are in the EDUTrust Network?
Once you have completed the Request Your Match form, an admissions counselor employed by the institution you have been matched to will contact you. The admissions counselor will guide you through the admissions process, discuss your career goals and program options, and answer any questions you may have.
What will my tuition cost if I use my Union Education Benefit?
Each participating college in the network has agreed to offer discounted tuition rates to union members and their families, with discounts up to 52% off.
All prospective students will work directly with an admissions counselor and financial aid specialists, employed by the college, to determine the total out-of-pocket cost. As part of this process, the admissions team will review and determine which grants, financial aid, and scholarships you may qualify for.
What if my academic program of interest isn't offered?
Don’t fret. Additional programs are being added to the network monthly. Complete the “Don’t See Your Program?” request form and you will be updated when your program of interest is added to the network.
Which of my family members qualify for this benefit?
As a union member, your immediate family can also receive access to the discounted programs in the network. This includes your spouse and children.
