What is the CANY Benefit?

Because your organization is a Cannabis Association of New York (CANY) member, you can offer exclusive education benefits to your employees and their families - at no cost to you!

This benefit provides discounted tuition for 100+ high-quality academic programs through the EDUTrust Network of colleges and universities.

CANY has partnered with EDUTrust to provide this benefit to help you develop your workforce and better retain your employees, with no additional cost or workload for you.

Who is EDUTrust?

EDUTrust is an organization dedicated to providing top-quality education programs to CANY members and their families at an extremely competitive rate. The EDUTrust Network is a carefully curated group of high-quality, accredited colleges and universities across the United States. These institutions are committed to offering CANY members exclusive discounted tuition rates for 100+ online degree programs.

As a member of CANY, what am I responsible for to manage this benefit and offer it to my employees?

CANY has partnered with the EDUTrust Network to provide this benefit to your employees with minimal involvement on your end. Here’s how we will help you educate your employees about this new benefit you can offer them:

1.  You’ll automatically receive emails from CANY that you can forward directly to your team members. These emails will explain the benefit as if it’s directly from you!
2.  This Employee FAQ page will help you provide immediate responses to commonly asked questions.
3.  If your employees have additional questions, they can fill out the form on this page and a benefit provider representative will assist them.

Which colleges and universities are in the EDUTrust Network?

The network is constantly growing based on the demands of our partner membership organizations. Currently, we provide access to programs from four reputable institutions across the US:

• Rowan University
• Peirce College
• Claremont Lincoln University
• Houston Christian University

What is the discounted tuition cost of the programs in the network?

Each participating college in the network has agreed to offer discounted tuition rates to CANY members and their families, with discounts up to 42% off.

Which of my employees have access to the education benefit?

All full-time and part-time employees, either with a W2 or on hourly pay, have access to the CANY Education Benefit through EDUTrust.

Any external contractors you work with do not qualify for access to the benefit.

What family members have access to the network?

Your employee’s immediate family also receives the discounted tuition rate opportunity. This includes their spouse and children.
